Stelios easy Family of Brands Reunion in Monaco and Zoom Session 20-21 October 2023

Brand protection was front and centre on the agenda at the fifth ‘easy’ family of brands reunion in Monaco on the Cote d’Azur this weekend. The 80 members present at the fifth event since the COVID lockdown heard from intellectual property specialists at law firms Potter Clarkson, Stephenson Harwood and Edwin Coe of the importance of defending the easy brand from illegal use. The presentations and discussion were all the more pertinent following recent and successful actions taken against brand thieves encroaching on the easyLife and easyHotel brands.

The two day event unites all members of the easy family of brands as well as associates that work closely with easyGroup, for a busy schedule of business updates as well as social opportunities for the brands to interact with each other, exchanging ideas and exploring possible business cooperation. Unfortunately, not all members of the family were able to attend in person, however there was an online Zoom session to allow them to be part of the reunion experience.

The full Zoom session hosted on the 20 October 2023 was available to members of the easy family of brands unable to attend the local event.



Members also heard from Stephen Hester, easyJet chairman on the remarkable bounce back of profits at the UK’s largest airline, following the disruption brought about by COVID.

In the evening members took part in the marketing director Tony Anderson’s ever-popular easyQuiz that amusingly challenged everyone’s mental recall of the weekend’s events as well as their knowledge of easyHistory.info.
