easyJet enters its 25th year
A quarter of a century on and that two plane outfit from Luton has now become the UK’s largest airline with 350 aircraft – all painted in that understated shade of orange – and a constituent of the prestigious FTSE-100 index.
However that hasn’t stopped unscrupulous businessmen from ripping off the brand or their own uses. Part of the answer lies in using the branding in every possible way – so easyGroup communications director Richard Shackleton, easyJet company secretary Maike de Bie and easyHotel franchise director St John Harvey have taken delivery of branded office accessories to remind management, employees, stakeholders and customers of the importance of calling out brand thieves.
